Rookie Mini-Camp

On a cold, crisp Saturday, football enthusiasts learned both sides of the ball from the Sirens championship coaching staff. Take a look at the schedule for the camp and all the skills these women were able to learn and improve upon.


Sacramento Sirens and Monarchs Mingle at Sunrise Mall

Time: 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Monarchs player, Edna Campbell posed for a picture with Sirens players at the Girl-Jocks.com booth at Sunrise mall on Sunday. Excited fans flocked to get Edna's autograph and Sirens players had a great opportunity to interact with interested shoppers and generate awareness for the team. Stay tuned for the next siting of Sirens players in the community!


Sirens Table at UC Davis vs. Cal Poly Football Game

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
Date: Sunday, October 19, 2003
Location: West steps of State Capitol
Time: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

The Sirens support the American Cancer Society by participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Sacramento walk. Money raised from the event will go towards researching a cure for breast cancer.


American Heart Association Walk
Date: Saturday, September 20, 2003
Time: 9:00 a.m. (Registration at 8:30 a.m.)

Location: William Land Park

The Sirens support the American Heart Association by participating in the 12th Annual American Health Walk. Money raised from the event will go towards research and community education programs to help fight heart disease and stroke, the nation's number 1 and 3 killers.


Kids Football Clinics
Location: Capital Christian High School
Are your kids interested in learning the fundamentals of being a great football player? Then sign them up for our first Kids Clinic of the year, hosted by your very own Sacramento Sirens football players.

Katie from the Hilmar Packers had this to say about the Sirens Kids Clinics, "I enjoyed the Sacramento Sirens kids clinic because it helped me learn new skills in football. The Sirens were nicer than my coaches, and that helped build my confidence. It was really fun, too!!! I'm going to go back next year.Thank you, Sirens!!!"

4th of July Fireworks Booth
Date: June 27 - July 4, 2003
Location: Corner of Fruitridge and Power Inn (at the Fast Stop - corner of Wilkinson)
Time: Noon - 9:00 p.m.

Meet some of the team who will help you find your favorite fireworks. Scrip purchases may be made in advance at any Sirens home game to reserve fireworks for your celebration.


Sirens Carnival
Date: Sunday, June 8, 2003

Location: Fair Oaks Park at Madison and Fair Oaks behind the Library
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Kids and the whole family will have a blast with all the activities going on at the Sirens Carnival! There will be activities going on all day including a pie eating contest, football race, obsticle course, jumping house, clowns, face painting, kids carnival games, prizes, raffles, food and drinks. Please bring blankets and chairs and enjoy a relaxing day with the team.

Car Wash
Date: Saturday, May 17 and May 24, 2003
Location: Del Taco Parking Lot at the corner of Greenback and San Juan
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Pictures

Proceeds from this event will fund travel for the team to New York for the 2003 IWFL Championship game. Bring your vehicle for a clean and meet some of the Sirens players! Merchandise and playoff tickets will also available at this event.


"Carbo" Feed
Date: Friday, April 25, 2003

Location: St. John Vianney's Parish Hall
Time: 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Price: $10 for adults, $5 for kids
Meal: All-You-Can-Eat pasta, salad, bread and antipasto. No host bar with beer and wine.

There will be a seperate kids area with activities and butcher paper tablecloths with crayons for coloring. Terrific raffle prizes will be available including a white water rafting trip on the American River for 2 people from W.E.T. River Trips worth about $350.

A Karaoke machine will also be set up with nominations available for future contest entrants!
